How Do You Make Holiday Candy Cane Fudge?
Holiday candy canes are a favorite Christmas candy. Though you can buy holiday candy canes on nearly every corner during the Christmas holiday season, home made candy is so much better! But, I found that making candy canes can be rather tricky, so I found a perfect compromise — home made holiday candy cane fudge! It’s quick and easy to make and tastes delicious! Step 1 Line an 8″ square baking dish with nonstick foil. Step 2 Heat the sweetened condensed milk and the vanilla baking chips over medium heat, stirring frequently until the vanilla baking chips are almost melted. Step 3 Remove the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla baking chips mixture from the heat and continue stirring until the chips are completely melted. Step 4 Once the vanilla chips are melted, stir in the peppermint extract and the crushed candy canes until well blended. Step 5 Pour the holiday candy cane mixture into the foil lined pan. Step 6 Drop one drop of food coloring six different places on top of the fudge.
