This cheap and simple recipe is every bit as good as those sold in the automotive department of your supermarket. Mix the dish washing and laundry soap in a large bucket until the powder is completely dissolved. Using hot water will make it dissolve completely. Use more water if you think the solution is soapier than you need. Use a little less water if your really dirty car needs a good scrubbing. Wash thoroughly with a sponge or soft rag.
