Remove the contents of your coffee can (throw away the lid) and wash out with soapy water. Rinse well and dry completely. Poke holes into your coffee can by laying the can on its side and piercing it with the pointy end of your can opener. Try to put at least 20 holes into the sides of your coffee can.
