How Do You Make Homemade Pizza Crust?
A homemade pizza crust and pizza is inexpensive and easy to make. This recipe will make 2 – 3 12″ pizza crusts, depending on how thick you like your pizza crust. Mix the instant dry yeast with 1/4 cup warm water and set aside for about 5 minutes or until the mixture begins to look foamy. Mix the yeast mixture and flour together. Begin to knead the yeast mixture and flour together. Slowly add water (1 tablespoon at a time) to this. Knead the dough until it begins to form a ball. Once the dough ball has formed, continue to knead until smooth, about 5 – 6 minutes. Place the dough ball in a lightly oiled bowl. Lay plastic wrap over the top of the bowl. Cover with a towel and place in a warm location until doubled in size – about an hour. After the dough has doubled in size, place on a lightly floured surface. Roll the dough to the desired thickness.
