How Do You Make Lobster Lasagne?
If you love lobster this dish is for you. It’s elegant, it’s easy, it’s the most gourmet dinner party entree you could serve. Best of all you can make it ahead and enjoy your guests. Add a salad and fresh fruit for dessert and you have a fabulous dinner. It’s very rich and delicious; definitely a show stopper. You will want this dish in your repertoire. Serves 4-6. Melt butter. Add onion and sauté until golden. Stir in flour. Cook over low heat until flour is pale yellow. Remove from heat. Add hot cream, stirring vigorously. Return to moderate heat and stir until sauce comes to a boil. Reduce heat and add Madeira. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour lemon juice over lobster; toss lightly. Butter a 3 quart baking dish. Ladle sauce to coat the bottom. Layer three lasagne noodles, cutting to fit, if necessary. Layer 1/2 the lobster meat, half the artichokes 1/3 of the cheese and 1/3 remaining sauce. Repeat once more. Top with a layer of noodles, sauce and Gruyere. Sprinkle with paprika. Refrig
