How Do You Make Low-Sugar Blackberry-Peach Jam?
Here’s a wonderful mixed fruit jam that is delicious and healthy. Blackberries and peaches go together in a sweet combination that is colorful and delicious. This jam will set slightly less firmly than single-fruit jams, but it will be one of your family’s favorites. Before you prepare your fruit, turn on your oven to about 200 degrees F and place your mason jars on the oven rack and leave them warming until you’re ready for them. Wash your peaches, pit and chop them up into small chunks. Carefully remove the blackberries from their containers and rinse them in a bowl filled with cold water. Discard that water and any other foreign objects that might fall out of your berries. Carefully mix the blackberries and peaches together in a 6-cup measuring cup. Fill the measuring cup to the top and pack the fruit down so it is a tightly filled cup.
