Macramé necklaces are knotted necklaces, and the advanced form of macramé is known as micro macramé. Micro macramé is nothing more than macramé made from extremely fine materials, usually under 2mm thick. It is considered advanced because it is much more difficult to work with and control such thin materials. If you want to make a micro macramé bead necklace, though, you can do so with the appropriate process and knotting techniques. Measure three strands of micro cord approximately 8 to 12 inches long and cut them appropriately with the scissors.
