Recipe for homemade microwave caramel corn. Combine all ingredients except soda and popped corn in a 1 1/2 to 2 quart microwave safe bowl. Put in microwave (on high) and bring to a boil. Allow ingredients to boil for 2 minutes. Remove from microwave and stir in baking soda. Put the popped corn in a brown grocery bag and pour the syrup over the top of the popped corn. Close the bag by rolling it down a few times and SHAKE vigorously. Place bag back into microwave and cook on high for 1 1/2 minutes. Remove bag and shake well. Repeat steps 4 and 5 two more times. Place caramel corn on cookie sheets to cool and store in air tight container. Makes a delicious snack!
