Building model cars is a popular pastime for people of all ages. Model cars can be built and put on display, and other types of models can be raced and played with. One of the more recent additions people are putting on their model cars is a miniature hydraulic system. The hydraulics can be used to literally make the car hop in the air and can turn a lifeless model into hours of entertainment. Build your model car, but stop building just before you glue the chassis of the car together. You will be installing your model car hydraulic system to the inside chassis of the car, so you will still need access to the inside. Line up your model car’s frame with the hydraulic system frame. Make sure the fit is perfect and snug. If there are any plastic pieces still left on the car chassis from when it was connected to the plastic sprue, use your knife to trim them off.
