To help you cut back on odors the natural way, consider making your own diaper pail odor eliminator. Empty the contents of the diaper pail and then fill it with warm water and white vinegar. As a general rule, use about 1 cup of vinegar for every 2 gallons of water. Let the water and vinegar sit in the tub for 10 to 20 minutes. Pour out the water and vinegar and then leave the diaper pail upside down to drain. Fill a 16-oz. plastic spray bottle with 1/4 cup white vinegar and 1 3/4 cups of water. Add 20 drops of tea tree essential oil to the mix. Secure the lid on the spray bottle and shake gently to mix. Spray the diaper pail with a fine mist of your odor eliminator after placing each fresh diaper inside.
