0

Everything tastes better in New Orleans! That’s why you leave 10lb heavier then when you got there. One thing is the iced coffee, I couldn’t understand why it was so different. But now I know, and here it is. In order to make a genuine NOLA iced coffee, you must make it with cold-brewed coffee concentrate, not hot-brewed coffee that’s poured over ice. The coffee concentrate takes 24 hours to make and it’s a little messy, but it’s oh-so-worth-it! Get yourself 1 lb of coffee. Oh, I suppose any old coffee would do, but if you want it to be authentic, use New Orleans coffee. To kick it up a notch, use coffee with chicory! In a pinch, any old coffee will do – but it’s not going to be as good. (Just sayin…) Put 1lb of coffee in a stainless steel cooking pot and wet it with two cup of cold water. COLD WATER, not hot. Stir the coffee in the water until it’s all good and wet. Then add another 8 cups of cold water. Cover the pot. Put the pot someplace where it won’t be disturbed. You can leave
