Look for thinner vinyl because it will be easier to sew. Measure the pillow. Place a measuring tape on the pillow itself and measure from one end to another. This will allow for any roundness that would not get measured if the tape were held straight across. Add a ½ inch seam allowance to each edge of the pillow measurements. For example, if the pillow measurement is 12 by 12 inches, the new measurement will be 13 by 13 inches. Mark the measurements for the front and back pieces on the vinyl tablecloth.
