Have you been to a Hawaiian luau and enjoyed the kalua pork? Heres instructions on how you can make this luau favorite at home. Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees. Wash pork and dry with a paper towel. Place pork butt, bone side down, on a heavy duty aluminum foil pan. Pour about 1/3 of liquid smoke bottle on pork butt. Rub liquid into the pork butt. Ligthly sprinkle coarse salt and rub into meat. Cover pan with heavy duty aluminum foil. Place pan into 450 degree oven for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, turn oven temeperature down to 325 degrees for 3 hours. After 3 hours, take pan out of oven and let pan sit for 15 minutes. Carefully remove foil cover to avoid getting burned by hot steam. Use 2 forks to shredd pork. Mix in more coarse salt to pork if more flavor is needed. Place pork on serving dish.
