A delicious salad with a sweet edge which can be enjoyed either as a light lunch or an appetizer. Serves 4 Preparation time: 10 minutes Cooking time: 20 minutes • Prepare the pears by peeling, coring, and slicing them into thin wedges. • Heat an oiled frying pan over a high heat. Add and brown the pears. Season them with salt and pepper and transfer them to a tray. • Clean and re-heat the frying pan. Dry roast the walnuts and stir/toss them continuously.
