Put on the latex or plastic gloves before you begin mixing to avoid staining your skin. Pour the packet of Kool-Aid and 1 cup of water into the mixing bowl. Mix with the spoon until the Kool-Aid is fully dissolved. For longer or thicker hair, add another packet of Kool-Aid and another cup of water. Stir until fully dissolved.
