MIZ IDA’S PINEAPPLE CREAM PIE 1/2 cup sugar 1/8 tsp salt 6 tbsp flour 1 cup crushed pineapple(drained) 3 egg yolks 3 tbsp butter 1 1/4 cup milk juice from 1 lemon 1 9-inch baked pie shell In the top part of a double boiler, mix sugar, salt, and flour together; add the pineapple. Add the beaten egg yolks, butter, and milk. Cook in a double boiler over hot water, until thickened. Add the lemon juice and mix thoroughly. Cool slightly and pour mixture into the baked pie shell.
