How Do You Make Pineapple Chicken Marinade?

0

Chicken can sometimes become boring, so liven it up by marinating it before cooking. Marinades are simple to make and use by following a few easy steps. Marinades are designed to do two things. The first is to tenderize meat or chicken and the second is to add flavor. When using any marinade always dispose of the portion the meat was marinated in. If you want some marinade for basting set a 1/4 aside before adding the meat. Gather together all ingredients in the recipe list. Use a one gallon, zip-lock type freezer bag for marinating the chicken. Place the zip-lock bag in a bowl to help stabilize it while adding ingredients. Add the crushed pineapple and the pineapple juice to the gallon bag. Add 1/4 cup of brown sugar to the pineapple mixture in the bag. Gently mix the sugar into the pineapple so it will dissolve. Wash the green onions thoroughly! Cut the roots off the bottom and half of the green tops. Chop or slice finely. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
