How Do You Make Plaster Craft Wall Plaques?
There are many ways you can create wall plaques with out having to buy plastic molds, etc. Take a good look at the Deli trays you get from your grocery store. Many of them can be used as plaster craft molds. You can also use,candy,gelatin and soap molds. As long as it’s flexible plastic you can use it. Choose the mold you will be using. Mix the plaster according to the package directions. Pour the liquid plaster into your mold. Cake trays make excellent flat wall plaques. If you don’t have the hooks specifically made for plaster craft, just bend a paper clip into a “U” shape. Bend each end out about 1/4 “. Before the plaster begins to set, while it is still warm, insert the paper clip hook near the top and in the center of the plaque, so that the rounded edge is outside and the two prongs are embedded.
