How Do You Make Play Dough At Home?
Do you want to encourage your children to be creative? One good way is to make modeling clay at home. It’s easy and your children will love playing with it. Having made play dough at home many times, this is absolutely the best recipe I have ever seen. Mix all ingredients (except food coloring) in a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture gathers on the stirring spoon and forms dough. This will take approximately 6 minutes. Scrape dough out onto a piece of waxed paper or a cutting board and let cool enough to handle. Knead to form a pliable mass. Divide into three equal amounts. Take each piece and form a small well in the middle. Put a few drops of food coloring into each well. Knead until color is mixed in well. This will make about 2 pounds of modeling clay. Put a plastic table cloth on your table for easy clean up and let your children have a ball. Store in a tightly covered container, or plastic bags. It will stay pliable and easy to use for many mont
