You can create pop-up Christmas tree greeting cards and even enlist the help of children to decorate. Fold an unlined, white, 5 x 8-inch index card in half. Hold the shorter sides and bring them together. Run your finger along the folded edge to ensure it is smooth. Cut one inch into the fold you just created. Fold the card over, above the cut, so that it forms a triangle. Turn the card over and fold in the opposite direction. This makes the Christmas tree pop-up. Open the card and work the triangle back and forth, until you get it to pop up every time. Take a 5 x 8-inch piece of white paper and glue it to the back of the card. This becomes your card liner.
