• Trim excess fat from pork chops. • Brown pork chops in hot skillet. Discard fat. • Cook celery and onion in hot skillet until tender. • Mix the vegetable mixture with the soft bread crumbs, chopped apple, 2 tablespoons water and seasonings. • Place browned pork chops in skillet. Top each pork chop with half of the stuffing mixture. • Add 1/4 cup water to skillet. • Cover skillet and cook pork chops 30 minutes. Add additional water, if needed, to prevent over-browning. Serves 2.
