How Do You Make Potato Candy Without Potatoes?
In this article you will learn how to make Potato Candy without the potatoes. I have also heard it called snake candy. Whatever you want to call it, it still tastes just as good. This candy is wonderful for holidays or to make for a gift! Mix confectioners sugar and margarine until the sugar has a yellowish tint to it. Slowly add evaporated milk until you can roll it into a ball without it sticking to your fingers. The best way to mix this is (wash your hands of course) with your hands. If it is to dry you can add more milk and if it is to sticky you can add more sugar until it is the right consistency. Roll it out into a very thin square and put a thin layer of peanut butter. You may have to do this a couple of times to keep from making the roll too thick. Roll it up and cut into small peices.
