How Do You Make Potato Lentil Soup?

0

In the cold winter nights, this soup will not only heat up your body, it will also replenish your soul. A perfect dish even on its own, it is so filling that nothing more is required. Soak lentils in water for at least one hour. Instructions can be found on the back of the dried lentils package. Add the vegetables (whole), lentils and potatoes cut into large pieces to a large pot of boiling water about two quarts of water. After one and a half to two hours remove all the whole vegetables (they are only to add taste to the broth) leaving only the lentils and potatoes in broth. Add pasta; follow package cooking instructions. Once the pasta is cooked remove from heat and immediately enjoy.
