How Do You Make Quick And Easy Baked Brie For Holiday Parties?

0

Baked Brie is the hit of many holiday parties, and very easy to prepare. It is the most popular of appetizers requested by my clients. Although quick and easy, it is not a recipe that cannot be made ahead of time. The Brie should be warm and soft when served. Almonds are used on this cheese recipe, but any type of chopped nut is equally good. Add grapes or apple slices for that added elegance. Bon Appétit! Preheat oven to 350 degree. Set Brie wheel in an ovenproof serving dish. If you are preparing two wheels at the same time, use a cookie sheet and transfer to a serving dish when done. Spread top of Brie with butter. For an elegant butter, mix a pinch of mild spices in the butter and mix well before spreading on the Brie. Place the slivered almonds on top of the butter spread. Bake Brie for about 14 minutes. The cheese should be soft and heated through. Serve warm with the French bread, slice apples, and crackers.
