When I began eating gluten-free for health reasons, the hardest thing to replace was bread. There are various gluten free breads for sale in the health food isle of many grocery stores, but they all seemed to leave a few things to be desired, like taste and texture. They were also expensive, so I tried the various baking mixes available, as well as recipes using a variety of flour, mostly rice and bean.
