How Do You Make Rib-Crusher Honey Barbecue Sauce?

1

This barbecue sauce is great on grilled chicken, turkey legs, pork, or hamburgers, in addition to spare ribs. For best flavor, grill your meats briefly, then stew in the sauce. Makes about 1 1/2 c. sauce – for enough meat to serve six people. Combine the honey, salsa, apple cider vinegar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, and garlic in a small saucepan. Cook over a medium heat for 30 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent sticking. Remove from heat and add the liquid smoke. Place meat on grill and grill each side for about 5 minutes. Smother meat in sauce and wrap in foil. Cook on medium to low grill until done.
