How Do You Make Rosettes For Window Treatments?
Fabric rosettes are a beautiful, versatile and useful additions to window treatments. Make them in contrasting or coordinating colors and fabrics as an accent, or they can serve as an attractive disguise for hardware or drapery findings. They’re easy to make, and inexpensive as well. Mark a cutting line on the wrong side of your fabric. With a yardstick, measure from the top right corner of your fabric, and across 20 inches of the width. Mark this point (point A) on the fabric with a fabric pencil. Then, measure 5 inches down, at a right angle from point A, and mark this point (point B) Measure down 5 inches from the top right corner, and mark this point (point C). Using the yardstick as a straight-edge, draw a line connected points B and C. Then, again using the yardstick for a straight-edge, draw a line connecting points A and B. Cut the fabric.
