How Do You Make Sangria The Spanish Way?
Sangria, the quintessential Spanish drink so often associated with sand, sea and the other word beginning with S, that´s it Sand. Enjoyed by millions of visitors to Spain we now produce the recipe for Sangria the Spanish way so that you can continue to enjoy your Sangria where ever you are in the World. This has taken us much painstaking research and practical tastings so we hope enjoy!! Take the following ingredients 1 bottle of red wine (does not need to be Spanish), we prefer one of the full bodies Riojas, but any red wine YOU enjoy will be great 2 shots of Bacardi or Gin, or Brandy or Rum; whichever you like the most 1 lemon wedged 1 orange wedged 2 cups of ginger ale 1 tbs of sugar Pour the red wine into a pitcher or jug and add juice from squeezed lemon and orange, and throw the remaining fruit wedges into the drink. Stir in sugar, you will need to stir will to make sure it dissolves and add the spirit of your choice (at Barcelona Flats we like it with Rum or Brandy). Chill overn
