How Do You Make Sassy Shrimp Appetizer?

0

Want a quick appetizer for entertaining? Instead of having cold shrimp cocktail, spice things up with this peel-and-eat shrimp recipe with a kick! Rinse shrimp under cold running water. Bring water to boil in 1 quart or 2 quart pot. Fill the water halfway in the pot. Place shrimp in a large bowl. Add 2 tablespoons old bay seasoning, 1 1/2 tablespoons crushed red pepper, 1/2 tablespoon cayenne pepper to shrimp. Using your hands, mix the seasonings into the shrimp by massaging them around and making sure all of the shrimp get seasoned. Let shrimp stand for 2 minutes. Add shrimp to boiling water and add bay leaves to water. Let water return to boiling. If mixture starts to boil over, turn the heat down to medium heat. Cook shrimp for 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from water. Add remaining seasonings (seasonings you measured out in Step 3) and enjoy!
