How Do You Make Sausage And Apple-Walnut Stuffing?
Turkey season is coming very soon and the smell of all that food cooking. This stuffing will only add to that mouth-watering smell. Maybe, I should say the mouth-watering thought of that smell. UUUUMMMM!!! My mouth is watering now. I MIGHT make it through this article without a bib!! Preheat oven 325 degrees. Cook sausage in a skillet; set aside in a big bowl. Melt butter in skillet. Add mushrooms, onion and celery. Cook 4 min.; stir once in a while. Stir in apple; cook 2 min.; stir constantly. Add to sausage. Add stuffings and nuts; tossing into the sausage mix. Add broth and egg; toss well. Put in greased casserole dish. Cover; bake 20 min. Remove cover; bake 25 to 30 min.; til center is 165 degrees.
