How Do You Make Sausagemeat & Apple Stuffing?
A sausagemeat and apple stuffing is the perfect compliment to your roast poultry. Despite being made from scratch, it takes less than 30 minutes and is mouthwateringly deliecious! This recipe is for 7 cups of stuffing or enough to stuff an 18lb turkey. Over a medium heat, brown sausage meat with onion and celery. Remove from heat without draining. In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, parsley, salt, sage, poultry seasoning, pepper and butter. Mix well. Add water, apples, raisins and sausage mixture to bowl and mix well. Before roasting your turkey, spoon stuffing into cavity. Take care not to overstuff and do not pack tightly.
