How Do You Make Shrimp Dip Using Canned Soup?

0

If you want a memorable party dip, make this shrimp dip. Your friends will ask you to bring it for New Years Eve and for the Super Bowl party. This shrimp dip is easy to make, but finding the main ingredient, Campbell’s Cream of Shrimp soup, is sometimes difficult. I ended up ordering a case from my local supermarket and they called me to pick it up when it arrived. Once you find the soup, you’re ready to start. Put the block of 8 ounces of cream cheese out to soften. You can speed it up by warming it for 15 seconds in the microwave. Finely dice the celery to get 1/4 cup. Finely chop one tablespoon of onion. Mix the softened cream cheese, the cream of shrimp soup, the 1/4 teaspoon of Louisiana-style hot sauce, the celery and onion together. I like to add a little bit of garlic to this. Refrigerate at least 2 hours so the flavors have time to blend. Serve it with crackers, chips or vegetables. Anything that you can dip will go with this tasty shrimp dip.
