Winter time is the perfect season for a warm and hearty soup. This recipe is the perfect remedy for those long winter days and is sure to take the chill right out of your bones! This simple yet hearty potato soup recipe is filling and better yet, comes straight out of grandma’s kitchen! Cut and peel the potatoes. Make sure the pieces are cut into bit size portions. Next, chop the large onion into small pieces. Add water to the pot. Make sure to add enough water to the pot to cover the potatoes. Lastly, add the large chopped onion, and place on simmer. In a seperate bowl add mixture of the remaining ingredients. First add 4 tablespoons of flour. Next add 1/4 qt of milk. Finally add 1 large container of sour cream. Mix well. When the potatoes are soft, add in mixture. Place on low heat and mix often. Enjoy!
