The season for fresh tomatoes will soon draw to a close. Why not take advantage of those few late bloomers and make some semi-homemade spaghetti sauce? There’s nothing better than fresh tomatoes in your spaghetti sauce to add texture and bursts of flavor. This spaghetti recipe uses jar sauce too, so it isn’t completely from scratch. This sauce is served often in our house for large groups and is always well received. It’s kind of a joke now with my sister-in-law when they come for dinner.
