How Do You Make The Restaurant Type Of Molten Chocolate Cake?

When your guests dip into this dessert, a delicious hot fudge center oozes out of a warm chocolate cake and you immediately advance into “awesome cook” status! Make cake batter following the directions on the box. Pour the batter into a large Texas sized muffin pan. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes. Let them cool. The cakes will be served upside down….so you might have to slice off a bit of the domed tops. Use a sharp knife and cut out a 1 1/2 inch diameter cylindrical chunk in the center of the (now the top) of each cake. Each hole should be approx. 1 1/2 inches deep. Scoop out with a spoon. This is where your hot fudge will later go. Spoon 2 tablespoons of fudge into each cake, then store in the refrigerator in a sealed container. When ready to serve, heat one cake at a time in a microwave for 40 to 45 seconds on high or until the fudge starts to bubble. Remove the cake and let it ‘rest’ for about 30 seconds. Then put a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of it covering the hole with fudge
