How Do You Make The Switch From Bottle To Sippy Cup Easier?
If your child is like mine, making the switch from a bottle to sippy cup is not the easiest task. My son had no problem drinking water or juice from a cup. Milk on the other hand, was supposed to be in a bottle in his little mind. If I put his milk in a cup it would just sit there untouched, but as soon as it went back into to bottle he would snatch it right up. After nearly a year of to make the switch unsuccessfully, I discovered some products I wish I knew about a long time ago that made the transition a breeze. Go to your local discount store (Walmart, Target, Kmart, etc.) and purchase a sippy cup with a silicone sipper. There are at least two brands that I know of. One is made by Nuby® and the other by Munchkin®. Don’t stock up (see warning below). These are a transition cups and don’t have a long lifespan.
