In the South you will normally find three different types of Barbeque Sauces: Vinegar based, Ketchup based and Mustard Based. Depending on where you are determines what kind of sauce is used. I have experiments with all three types for years and have finally decided these three are the best. They are equally as good on Chicken, Pork or Beef. Try one of them, or all three, and enjoy. For Vinegar Based Sauce: 2 Cups Apple Cider Vinegar 2 Cups Water 1/2 Cup Ketchup 1/4 Cup Black Pepper 1 Tablespoon Crushed Red Pepper 1/2 Tablespoon Dark Brown Sugar 1 Teaspoon Salt 1 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Mix all ingredients together and bring to a boil.
