INGREDIENTS: 1 cup butter or margarine, softened 1 cup packed brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 egg yolk 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 3/4 cups Heath toffee bits, divided (found in the baking aisle) 1 12-ounce bag chocolate chips In a large mixing bowl, beat butter until creamy. Mix in brown sugar, vanilla and egg yolk. Stir in flour and 1 cup toffee bits. Press into an ungreased 9×13 baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes or until light brown. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over top. Let stand about 5 minutes until chocolate chips are soft. Spread evenly over top. Sprinkle remaining 3/4 cup toffee bits over top. Refrigerate 20 minutes, or until chocolate is set. Cut into bars and enjoy.
