Follow these tips to make toilet paper roll trees for toddlers. Gather toilet paper rolls, scissors and green paper. Fold a sheet of green construction paper in half lengthwise. Press the seam down flat and leave the paper folded. Turn the paper sideways and cut a slit near the bottom of the page going toward the fold. Do not cut into the fold. Cut more slits all the way along the length of the folded paper so that you have cut strips of paper from one end to the other.
