How Do You Make Tomato, Basil And Garlic Salad?
This is one of the best light salad recipes that I have. Three years ago I made this for the first time and since then I make it all the time when I can get fresh vegetables. In the spring and summer we have a farmer’s market near us where I can go and buy my fresh ingredients and at the end of summer when my tomatoes, basil and garlic are ready to be harvested I make this recipe at least once a week. The first thing to do after you have your tomatoes is to wash them thoroughly. I’m very careful about this because I always want to make sure my salad is healthy and safe to eat. I usually use 5 tomatoes. I use all different kinds but my favorite is big boys (they do have a lot of acid in them so if this is a problem for you then find a less acidic type.)Plum tomatoes are good too and they are very easy to cut up.
