How Do You Make Tomato, Mozzarella, Basil Appetizers?

0

Impress your friends and family alike with this easy yet beautifully presented appetizer. This goes together in a matter of minutes, but it certainly will make a big splash at your next get together. Begin by drizzling the bottom of your plate or serving platter with the extra virgin olive oil. Set this aside to be used later. Cut the fresh mozzarella cheese (which usually comes in a ball) into thin slices. Also slice the tomatoes into thin slices as well. Rough chop the fresh basil. (Dried basil is just nowhere near as good so try to avoid using it if at all possible.) In serving platter alternate the slices of cheese and the slices of tomatoes until all of the slices are used. Sprinkle liberally with the fresh chopped basil and drizzle again with the EV olive oil. Add salt and pepper over the cheese and tomatoes if desired. It is ready to serve.
