Creating these miniature jumps is not difficult, and the materials required to complete the jumps are not expensive. Decide how big you want to make your jumps. You may want to make several different sizes and arrange the finished products in new and interesting ways each time. The longer you cut your pieces of balsa wood, the taller the jumps will be. Cut your balsa wood into strips using the X-Acto knife, then measure the middle of each piece. Use the hot glue gun to place a drop of glue on one of the pieces, then attach the other piece so that it forms a cross. Cut two more pieces of balsa wood to the same length and use the hot glue gun to glue them together and form a cross.
