This is a quick and easy way to “Go Dutch”–and you don’t even have to foot the bill. Prepare the yeast per the instructions on the package and set aside. Heat milk in the microwave until it is just lukewarm. Sift the flour and salt into a medium sized mixing bowl. Add the prepared yeast to the flour and salt mixture and gradually mix in the lukewarm milk until the batter is smooth. Add raisins, currants and apples. This is optional according to your tastes.
