How Do You Make Tuna And Cheddar Cheese Pie?
This is a delicious tuna and cheddar cheese pie recipe. The al dente ziti noodles are put in the bottom of the baking dish with cream cheese, garlic and pepper added. The tuna, peas and cheddar cheese are the next layer, then crescent rolls creating the top golden and flaky crust. Enjoy tuna and cheddar cheese pie with a light salad or steamed vegetables. This recipe is for two servings. Boil the noodles in water until slightly done or al dente, approximately 8 minutes. Layer the noodles in the bottom of an oiled baking dish. Add butter and cream cheese to noodles and blend together well. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper. Taste test and add ingredients for desired flavor. Mix together the drained tuna, cheddar cheese, frozen peas, salt and pepper. Spread this on top of noodle mixture. Cover the tuna, noodles and cheese mixture with unfolded crescent rolls. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until the topping is light golden. Serve while warm.
