Whipped glycerin soaps have an incredible texture and may seem impossible to make at home. However, with a little practice, you can create a whipped soap that no one will believe you made yourself. Depending on what ingredients you use, your soap may even get that sparkle seen in body washes purchased from the store. If you are new to soap making, you may want to try your hand at some easier projects before you tackle this one. Measure all ingredients by weight. Put the olive oil, coconut oil, and palm oil in a crock pot and heat until melted. Turn off crock pot. Pour water and glycerin into your plastic tub. Carefully add lye and potash and stir until completely dissolved. Measure the temperature of the lye water. When it is 140 degree F, carefully pour it into the crock pot. Use the stick blender to mix until the soap traces. Check for the trace by taking a spoonful of the batter and dribbling it on the top of the batter.
