How Do You Make Yellow Cake Mix Taste Homemade?
We enjoyed the taste of a fresh baked cake made the old fashion way by our Grand mothers. We can get the same taste from box cake mixes with just a few adjustments. Mix the cake mix together as directed by the instructions on the box. Except instead of using 1 1/4 cup water, replace 1/4 cup of water for the same amount of Maple Syrup. Bake cake as directed. Remove cake from Oven and let cake cool. While the cake is cooling remove butter creme frosting from can and place in bowl. Add 1 T spoon of Maple Syrup blend until smooth. Frost your cake with delicious tasting Butter Creme Frosting that tastes like Maple Flavor to accent the taste of the Maple Flavored cake you have created.
