This mini-Drum is a nice decoration and a great way to recycle your coffee, or other large cans. Clean can and cut out both ends. Cut leather to fit around the outside. It doesn’t have to be neat on the top or bottom as this will be covered later. I use re-cycled leather and leather purchased by the pound off E-bay (it sometimes has one rough and one smooth side). Use the smooth side out for the outside of the ‘drum’. Next cut irregular circles for the top and bottom so they over-lap the sides by two or three inches. Use a paper or leather punch to make holes for lacing about two to three inches apart around the outside of the circles. Cut thin strips of leather with your scissors. Make them as long as possible, but short ones can be used if long enough to knot and tie. These will be used for lacing. Place the circles over the drum ends with the rough sides showing. Take a lace and tie one end through a top hole, leave enough to tie to another strip later. Skip every other hole and wea
