How Do You Not Get Angry When Baby Is Naughty?
I think that instead of smacking her butt when you are angry you should smack your own leg to get the frustration out. What you are describing isn’t naughty. It is normal behavior in children. I am not trying to be mean but you really might benefit from some early childhood education so you can learn how to start thinking on the level of your baby. If you look at things from her perspective then you will stop viewing her normal behavior as naughty and start viewing it as normal. You will stop having unreasonable expectations of her and you will stop being mad. I mean sure… I expect my husband to take out the garbage for me. If he doesn’t do it I get mad at him. Would I expect my 2 year old to take out the garbage for me? NO! It’s like expecting your baby to understand that you want them to eat that bottle right then and there because you want them to go to bed because you have things you want to do for the evening.
