How Do You Open A Front Load LG Washer?
LG front load washers look like standard cabinet except the loading door is in the front. When troubleshooting your LG washer, you need to access the parts. To open an LG front load washer will require removal of the control console, top panel and front panel. You do not remove the sides or rear panel in the process. Once the LG washer is open, you can troubleshoot and replace the parts inside and get your LG washer working again. Unplug the LG front load washer power cord from the electrical outlet. Turn off the water supply valves on the wall where the supply lines come into the house. Move the LG washer away from the wall so that you can work behind the washer. Place a bucket behind the washer and disconnect the two water supply hoses from the rear of the unit. Place the hose ends into the bucket. Remove the seven screws that secure the back cover of the control console with a Phillips-head screwdriver. Push the control console forward so the face of the console rests on the top pan
