0

Encapsulated PostScript files, commonly known as EPS files, are graphics that are stored in a format different than JPEGs or GIFs. EPS files are used with applications like Adobe Illustrator and are primarily used with Apple Mac computer. Many PC systems can read EPS files, but if yours cannot, then you can convert the image to a JPEG or other standard format. Open the EPS file using the Preview application on a Mac computer. Go to the “File” menu and choose “Save As.” Type in a name for the new image and choose “JPEG” from the “Format” drop-down menu. Click “Save” to export the EPS file as a JPEG image. Copy the newly created JPEG file to a USB flash drive or blank CD and then transfer it to your PC computer. The JPEG file will now be able to be opened by any Windows graphics application.
